Faktor Dominan Yang Mempengaruhi Kejadian Dermatitis Kontak Pada Pedagang Ikan Di Pasar Sentral, Kota Sorong

Contact dermatitis is inflammation of the skin caused by materials in contact with the skin, dermatitis often occurs in informal workers, one of whom is fishmonger. The purpose of this study was to analyze the most dominant factor variable influencing the incidence of contact dermatitis in fishmonger at Sorong, Papua Barat. The independent variables in this study were 3, namely age, personal hygiene, and working period, the dependent variable in this study was contact dermatitis. This type of research uses a cross sectional study approach, with a sample size of 73 fishmongers. The results of logistic regression test found that the most dominant factor influencing the incidence of contact dermatitis was personal hygiene (p=0.011<0.05, Exp (B) 4.190. It is hoped that the government will pay attention to the condition of informal sector workers in the market, especially fishmongers, by providing water clean and provide counseling related to personal hygiene, such as washing hands and feet using soap and running water after work, bathing after returning from work, changing work clothes every day and bathing at least 2 times a day.
