HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DAN PENERAPAN SOP TERHADAP KEJADIAN KECELAKAAN KERJA DI RSUD LABUANG BAJI MAKASSAR

Abstract

Work accidents occur due to two main factors, namely environmental and mechanical factors or unsafe conditions and the second factor, namely human factors or unsafe actions. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between knowledge and application of SOPs to work accidents at Labuang Baji Hospital, Makassar. This research method uses a quantitative method, based on its type, it uses a cross sectional approach with the population, namely nurses who work in the ER installation at Labuang Baji Hospital, Makassar. The results of this research are an overview of 70 respondents, 27 (38.6%) nurses were known to have experienced work accidents, 35 (50%) nurses had low knowledge, 40 (57.1%) nurses had implemented SOPs that were not appropriate. Based on the chi square statistical test results for the knowledge variable, the p-value obtained was 0.001<(0.05), the application of SOP obtained a p-value of 0.023<(0.05) which shows that there is a relationship between each variable and the incidence of work accidents. In conclusion, there are nurses who have experienced work accidents with low knowledge and inappropriate implementation of SOPs. There is a significant relationship between knowledge and application of SOPs and the incidence of work accidents in the ER installation at Labuang Baji Hospital, Makassar.
